LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR
I obtained my counseling training at Ashland Theological Seminary. The core values of Ashland Theological Seminary are Scripture, Spiritual Formation, Community and Academic Excellence.
To graduate, I completed 98 Master's-level credit hours, and 600 hours in counseling internships at a local hospital and counseling agency.
After graduation, I passed the National Counseling Exam (NCE) through the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) and completed 3,000 hours of post-graduate counseling hours, including 300 hours in supervision.
More than 4,000,000 couples have prepared for marriage or enriched their relationship through taking the P/E assessment and working with a Certified Facilitator. The assessment itself has been proven to improve relationship satisfaction; however there is something extraordinary about the relationship a Facilitator develops with a couple that truly helps the couple grow more than they would on their own.
P/E is one of the most widely researched assessment tools. Professors and students at colleges and universities worldwide use the scales as a tool to conduct and evaluate their research. P/E continues to adapt and react to the changing reality of relationships through continued research and development of assessments and resources.

Infant Mental Health Endorsement (IMH-E) is administered through Michigan Association of Infant Mental Health (MI-AIMH.)
To earn this certification I:
Completed a Master's Degree in a related field
Obtained a minimum 30 hours of relationship-based education and training pertaining to the promotion of social-emotional development and/or the practice of infant mental health.
minimum of two years of paid, post-Bachelor’s, professional work experience providing prevention and/or early intervention services that promote infant mental health. Completed a
1. Served a minimum of 10 families of infants/toddlers (birth to 36 months), and
2. A primary focus of the services provided is the social-emotional needs of infant/toddler, and
3. Services include attention to the relationships surrounding the infant/toddler
